• True 30 Frames per Second- The only way to catch all the action when things happen quickly is to have a very high frame rate. The iDrive2 uses True 30 FPS to catch all the critical, high-speed action. You won’t miss a thing “in between frames”.


• Night Vision Operation - We realize that most people drive at night, so why don’t most of the video cameras for cars come equipped with night vision? We don’t have a good answer for you, but we do have a solution. The iDrive22 sees things you won’t, even at night; when in night vision mode. Integrated infrared (IR) LEDs lights illuminate the “target” but cannot be seen by the human eye.


• Real-Time Display - The iDrive2 includes an integrated 2.5inch LCD display that rotates 270° so either driver or passengers can view real-time footage or playback. See what’s being recorded or what has just been recorded with just the push of a button.


• Motion Activated- You can enable the iDrive22 to start recording when motion is detected and stop recording once no motion is detected. Motion activated mode is perfect for surveillance without having to eat cold pizza in your car all night.


• Interval Video Recording - You can set the device to record in 2, 5 or 15 minute intervals once motion has been detected. Set the iDrive2 to 2 minute intervals to avoid losing critical footage when the memory is full.


• Audio Recording- Catch all the feisty dialogue of a road raged driver with the integrated microphone. You can also turn the microphone off to save memory.


• Time/Date Stamp - No legal quality video would be worth much to law-enforcement or in a courtroom without a Time & Date stamp watermarked onto your footage.


• Power Source - A car charger is included with the kit if you want to have the iDrive22 turn every time your car does. The Lithium-Polymer batteries also provide up to 3 hours of continuous recording when using the cigarette lighter car charger simply isn’t an option. Alternatively if an accident cuts power to your cigarette lighter port, it will continue recording on battery.


• Memory - Your videos are automatically saved to an SD card. The iDrive22 accepts up to a 32GB SDHC card for maximum memory performance – 10 continuous hours with overwrite option for indefinite recording (when using the provided cigarette lighter adapter).intervals to avoid losing critical footage.
